Moveable Feast has several programs. The core of our program is the free food services offered to people with HIV/AIDS, breast cancer, and other life-threatening conditions. This includes weekly meal delivery of up to 18 meals/week for homebound men and women struggling with severe illness and meal delivery to homeless men and women in Baltimore through partnerships with emergency shelters and drop-in centers. Our registered dieticians provide free nutritional counseling to our clients to improve their eating habits and health long term. We also provide door-to-door transportation to medical appointments for Baltimore City clients who are too ill to drive or take public transportation. Lastly, culinary training, life skills workshops and job placement opportunities are available for underserved adults who want to work in the health-related food industry.
Mission: Moveable Feast provides nutritious foods and other services in order to preserve the quality of life for people with HIV/AIDS and other life-threatening conditions.
