Our vision is that San Diego's Canyons are widely respected, managed and enjoyed for their natural and unique ecological contribution to the well being of the land and its inhabitants.
Like the beaches and the mountains, "Canyonlands" are integral to our infrastructure, vital to our air and water quality, providing recreation, nature and quality of life.
We help organize grassroots support of San Diego Canyons by fostering citizen "Friends" groups around urban canyons and creeks throughout San Diego City and County. We also engage volunteers to assist in clean-ups, restoration, protection, and many other critical support tasks.
