Northwest Boxer Rescue

Network Dogs - by using social media/Facebook, posting pictures, sharing stories, recruiting volunteers, foster families and forever homes

Fostering - If you are interested in fostering please contact us and we will send you an application and foster contract to fill out. You can also download a foster application from our FORMS page. We also complete a home visit before you are an approved foster home. If there is a specific dog that you are interested in fostering please let us know. We want to make sure that things go well for both the foster home and the dog. All costs of the foster dog will be covered by the rescue including most food and all medical costs. All you need to provide is lots of love, a warm home and attention. If you need help with things we are always here anytime to help. We have some amazing foster homes. They are the backbone to what we do. It would be impossible to do this without devoted people who care about these lovable wiggle butts! Your foster is usually with you from 2-8 weeks.

Supplies - We are always in need of the following items: dog food, dog beds, bowls, treats, crates (large and extra large), collars and leashes. Please contact us and we can tell you where to drop them off. The dogs and the rescue thank you!

Transport - We are always looking for people to transport dogs from various cities in Washington, Oregon, Idaho and California. We also need people to pick up dogs from high kill shelters. Please let us know if this interests you!

Mission: Focused on helping in WA, OR, ID, MT and CA, Northwest Boxer Rescue (NWBR) believes that every Boxer deserves a chance to live a happy life in a loving home. Abandoned or homeless Boxers will always find shelter, medical care, and ultimately a new home through the efforts of NWBR. By working with committed volunteers and local veterinarians we are able to rescue Boxers every year, provide them with loving temporary care, and find them perfect loving forever homes. Working in conjunction with city and county groups, NWBR strives to educate the public and help end animal overpopulation and needless suffering. The commitment to share the love of Boxers is never ending.
