Whatever your skills or time commitment, we can use your help! StandUp For Kids has been recognized by the White House, the U.S. Justice Department, Governor's Office for Children, Secretary of State for Colorado, American Express, AT&T and USWest and has been awarded the JCPenney Golden Rule Award. We tell homeless and street kids that we care about them and then go to the streets and prove it!
Mission: StandUp For Kids is committed to providing hope and encouragement to homeless and street kids. We do this, every day, in cities across America. We carry out our mission through our volunteers who go to the streets in order to find, stabilize and otherwise help homeless and street kids improve their lives. We have been on the streets since January 1990 and continue to grow our organization to help Americas homeless youth.
