The Pike Market Senior Center provides services to address the needs of older, low-income people that are the result of physical disability, social isolation, inadequate nutrition, and the lack of opportunity to engage in meaningful activity or to learn new skills. The Pike Market Food Bank provides services to low-income and homeless people of all ages to address the problems that result from inadequate nutrition and isolation in those communities. In providing these services, we do not discriminate on the basis of color, creed, religion, gender, age, national origin, marital status, sensory or physical or mental handicap, political ideology or sexual orientation.
Mission: The Mission of the Pike Market Senior Center/Downtown Food Bank is to serve the basic needs of the low-income population in the Pike Place Market and downtown neighborhood.
