Real Change is a multi-faceted organization that publishes a newspaper, supports cultural projects that empower the poor and homeless, and mobilizes the public around economic justice issues. Our programs help create the conditions necessary for homeless and very low-income people to have a real voice of their own. These conditions include a creative and supportive community, a forum for the expression of their views, opportunities for self-help and self-advocacy, and access to influential allies.
Mission: The Real Change Homeless Empowerment Project organizes, educates, and builds alliances to address economic justice issues. We exist to provide a voice to low-income and homeless people in our community.
