Massachusetts Legal Aid Websites Project

The Massachusetts Legal Aid Websites Project helps low income people and their legal advocates resolve civil (non-criminal) legal issues in Massachusetts. We use technology to provide easy-to-find, understand, and use free legal resources to low income people in need of legal help, and we support a wide network of legal aid and poverty law advocates to serve their clients more effectively.
We operate four websites:
We are also engaged in other initiatives to increase access to justice through technology.

We are based at the Massachusetts Law Reform Institute (MLRI), Massachusetts' statewide nonprofit poverty law and policy center. MLRI's mission is to advance economic, racial and social justice through legal action, policy advocacy, coalition building, and community outreach. Read more on our website
