Gatewood Elementary: GONZO creative media network

AmeriCorps members facilitate After School Enrichment Programs for underserved youth. They are designed as project based learning environments to allow kids freedom to explore language and their interests in purposeful, celebrated action pieces like the GONZO newspaper and GONZO Radio :-)

Mission: Gatewood Elementary is committed to helping students become independent learners. Sound Youth AmeriCorps works with Gatewood to improve the developmental assets in the lives of at-risk youths.
