Success 1st, Inc

Success 1st is a nonprofit corporation dedicated to empowering youth to make sound decisions and to let nothing interfere with their success. The purpose of Success 1st is to empower youth to overcoming pressures to engage in destructive behaviors such as risks from engaging in sex, violence and drug or alcohol abuse. Success 1 st TM is structured to engage youth in artistic endeavors, strategic thinking/planning and character building activities as a means to discourage at-risk behavior, such as risks resulting from teen sexual activity, violence and drug or alcohol abuse. Success 1st differs from other organizations and tactics, because youth (peers) are charged wi th leadership. With the help of mentors and supporters in the community , youth are encouraged to recognize the ir innate talents, develop their skills through practice, list their goals and begin preparing for future success today.

Mission: Success 1 st TM encourages youth between the ages of 11 and 22 to acknowledge and address all aspects of their personal health and development. The program focuses on helping youth to develop sound decision-making skills in support of education, dating, leadership, and safety (internet/social/personal). It is structured to engage youth in artistic endeavors, strategic planning and character building activities as a means to discourage at-risk behavior, such as pregnancy, spread of sexually transmitted diseases, and drug or alcohol abuse.
