About

A Colorado nonprofit giving tertiary education grants for tuition, books, and/or supplies. Also runnning an tertiary education directory, and online charity store.

Mission: Relief of the poor, the distressed, or the underprivileged through advancement of education. Expounding on that this is for those that are at the bottom. If they hadn't fallen through the cracks they wouldn't be at the bottom. This is to help those that are in the most need of help to get that help. How can someone lift themselves up if they don't have the tools to do it? This program is to help them get those tools without selling themselves into financial slavery for a possible chance at a better future. Student loans are borrowing for a possible chance. When taking student loans there needs to be a lot of thought put into it. Are you able to pay the added debt with your current level of income, and employment? If not then it may not be wise to take out a student loan. There is no guarantee that a tertiary diploma will get you a better wage or even a better life. If you are told by someone or even a school that you will have a better life, and more money ask them to put a guarantee in writing. No one will put that guarantee in writing as they can't really guarantee it. If they do put a guarantee in writing they will give themselves every way they can think of to get out of it. Remember you are on the hook for that student loan. Most student loans will follow you to your grave unless paid off. That is where the financial slavery comes in. If you are paying that student loan that takes away from saving, buying, or even investing in your future, and don't forget that takes away from investing in your families future also. A bad decision to take out a student loan can have serious effects on your life. Now this doesn't mean you shouldn't take out a student loan. A good decision to take out a student loan can have great effects on your life. You must be careful, and think it through completely when you decide whether or not to take out a student loan. The poor, the distressed, and the underprivileged really need to think the hardest about taking out a student loan. That student loan will have to be paid off, and will keep growing. Is that something you really need when you are already having financial difficulties? Is it really worth the gamble? The poor, the distressed, and the underprivileged might want to look at other options available to them besides student loans such as education grants, work study, on the job training, and training programs to name a few. We are not here to discourage you from seeking a tertiary education. We are here to assist you in taking a responsible, and well thought out course to your future.
