Habitat for Humanity of the St. Vrain Valley

Based in Longmont, Habitat for Humanity of the St. Vrain Valley has built 52 homes locally and 76 internationally. Our homes are sold to qualified family partners at cost with zero-percent interest mortgages. As homeowners repay their mortgage, the funds are invested into building more homes for deserving families. We select homeowner families based on their need for adequate shelter, their ability to pay for a Habitat home, and their willingness to partner with Habitat for Humanity, including taking financial and homeownership classes. All homeowners contribute "sweat equity"; they work in partnership with the affiliate and other volunteers, contributing up to 500 hours of volunteer service.
