Operation Christmas Child Southeast Florida

Operation Christmas Child, a project of international Christian relief and evangelism organization Samaritans Purse, is the worlds largest Christmas project of its kind.

Kids, families, schools, churches, and community groups pack empty shoe boxes with simple items most people take for granted, including toothpaste, toys, and school supplies. The shoe boxes are then delivered to hurting children around the world using whatever means necessary--sea containers, trucks, trains, airplanes, boats, elephants, even dog sleds.

Operation Christmas Child is accomplished by the work of more than 140,000 volunteers in the United States, 500,000 worldwide, and tens of thousands of participating churches.

Mission: The mission of Operation Christmas Child is to demonstrate God's love in a tangible way to needy children around the world, and together with the local church worldwide, to share the Good News of Jesus Christ.
