About
The Pets Trust is a large group of volunteer animal advocates seeking to end the local pet overpopulation and abandonment crisis in Miami-Dade County. The Pets Trust has proposed legislation to create a dedicated source of public funding to support county-wide free, and low-cost spay/neuter surgeries, low-cost veterinary care, pet adoption and retention programs, and educational programs.
Mission: The Pets Trust primary goal is to successfully pass the Nov. 6 th ballot measure #240 to secure support of preventive programs to reduce the number of unwanted animals in Miami-Dade County and implement programs to keep pets healthy and in permanent homes.
