About
Founded in 1997, Stardust Nonprofit Building Supplies focuses on diverting usable building materials from local landfills while providing a resource for low income homeowners who are interested in remodeling. Stardust Nonprofit Building Supplies operates retail warehouse stores selling building supplies donated by manufacturers, distributors, contractors and individuals. This process diverts reusable building materials from local landfills making new and nearly-new materials available to our community at 50-80% off regular retail prices.
Net revenues generated are used to support Stardust' programs which include Deconstruction, Angels On Call, Computers For Kids and Good360. Deconstruction services offer removal and pick-up of materials to further encourage recycling and environmental stewardship at no cost to the owner in return for donation of the items removed. Angels On Call provides essential home repair services to elderly, disabled and disadvantaged individuals and families at no cost to the homeowner. Computers For Kids works in partnership with Arizona Students Recycling Used Technology to provide recycled computers for children living in poverty. Good360 re-distributes large donations from local retailers to nonprofit organizations for use by their clients. It is through these programs and partnerships that Stardust is able to serve a wide range of individuals from young to elderly living at or below the poverty level.
Mission: Stardust Nonprofit Building Supplies helps people and communities by providing recycled mateirals and sustainable programs that have a postive impact on our environment.
