Lift Urban Portland

Lift Urban Portland formerly called Northwest Portland Ministries was organized in 1983 at the request of Friendly House to recruit volunteers from the community to serve unmet needs. Although the bulk of volunteers come from area congregations, Northwest Portland Ministries is not a religious organization. A fundamental tenet of NWPM is a respect for people of all faiths and a commitment to work together to help our neighbors in need.
