About
The Woodruff Arts Center is one of the largest arts centers in the world, home to the Alliance Theater, the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra, the High Museum of Art and Young Audiences, the largest arts education organization in Georgia. Each year, these arts organizations play host to nearly 1.5 million arts patrons and students at the Woodruff Arts Centers Midtown Atlanta location, one of the only arts centers in the U.S. to host both visual and performing arts on a single campus.
The artistic excellence offered by these organizations has led to a Regional Tony Award for the Alliance, numerous Grammy Awards for the Symphony and collaborations with the worlds greatest museums by the High. In addition, hundreds of thousands of students benefit from the arts education programs offered by the artistic divisions and Young Audiences every year.
Mission: To inspire, create, support and celebrate renowned arts and education for diverse audiences through our unique model of divisions and collaborations, in an institutionally sustainable manner.
