SNAP-2 IT is looking for happy people who want to volunteer their time to help animals. There are many ways you can help and no amount of time is too small to offer.
Mission: SNAP-2 IT (Spay Neuter Assistance Program) (http://snap-2it.org) is an Atlanta area not-for-profit dedicated to helping animals in the community. SNAP-2 IT was born from a group of friends who volunteered in no-kill shelters in metro Atlanta for many years and saw the urgent need for a preventative solution. Rather than focus primarily on the results of pet overpopulation (namely, homeless animals), we decided to attack the issue at its core: the need for assistance in feral cat management, spay/neuter education and low cost options, and community awareness. After witnessing heartbreaking abuse cases and navigating email in-boxes crowded with desperate pleas to save animals from euthanasia in local shelters, the group coalesced into what it is today.
