Partnership Against Domestic Violence



Partnership Against Domestic Violence (formerly the Council on Battered Women) began as a volunteer agency in 1975. The organization became incorporated in 1977. Today the agency has over 40 full and part-time staff with an administrative office in Decatur and two 24-hour emergency shelters in Fulton and Gwinnett Counties.

Mission: PADV works to end the crime of intimate partner violence and to empower its survivors.
