Texas Land Conservancy

Texas Land Conservancy (TLC) is a statewide 501©3 non-profit land trust committed to the conservation of natural areas of Texas and to the protection of the physical and ecological integrity of their wildlife habitat, native plant communities, and scenic landscapes for the benefit of present and future generations. Through conservation easements and outright acquisitions, we have conserved almost 85,000 acres of land throughout Texas. This means more working farms and ranches safe from developer bulldozers; more green spaces for hiking, birding, and camping; and more protected habitat for flora and fauna.
