MDA of Southern Nevada serves more than 430 local families living with neuromuscular disease, with a variety of programs and services. Included among these services are:

Volunteers are the backbone of the Association's programs, helping with summer camp, support groups, seminars and many other programs. MDA special events are a fun way to get involved and help raise vital funds for the battle against neuromuscular diseases. MDA of Southern Nevada raises funds and awareness through a variety of programs such as Muscle Walk, Shamrocks Against Dystrophy, Fill the Boot (firefighters), Lock-Ups, Bowl-a-Thons, golf tournaments, and more.
Mission: MDA is the nonprofit health agency dedicated to curing muscular dystrophy, ALS and related diseases by funding worldwide research. The Association also provides comprehensive health care and support services, advocacy and education.
