Exchange Family Center



All of our services are FREE to clients.

All of our services are provided in both English and Spanish.

We serve all of Durham County.

Through 3 programs, the agency assists children and their families. All services are free and provided in the classroom or in the homes of the children and their families.

The Early Childhood Outreach (EChO) program assists children birth to 5 who are experiencing behavioral issues in the classroom setting.

Family Support provides help to children birth to 12 and their families who are experiencing challenges, where the child(ren) are at-risk of, or have experienced, abuse or neglect from the family.

The Parents of Adolescents (PoA) program provides help to children and teens, ages 7-17 that are at-risk of, or have experienced problems with the juvenile justice system.

Mission: The Exchange Family Center strengthens families and prevents child abuse and neglect through family support, counseling and education.
