Parents for Window Blind Safety

Parents for Window Blind Safety has been trying to get Americans to "Go Cordless" for almost 8 years now. The problem in America is that consumers/parents are being told that using safety devices on corded products and tying up the pull cords will prevent strangulation. What consumers/parents are not being told is that children have been injured and killed while using these suggestions. Children have died or been injrued on every corded product design on the market today.

Please come to our website and also come to our youtube channel to learn exactly how these children are getting caught in the cords.

PFWBS needs all the help they can get!

Mission: We are a 501(C) (3) grass roots, non-profit organization established in November 2002 to act as a support group and to educate parents, law enforcement, state officials, physicians, and the media on the hazards of corded window treatments and to provide a source of current statistical information. Most Americans are not aware of the 8 ways a child can strangle on a window blind, mini blind or Venetian blind cord. Most Americans are also not aware that so many children have died since the 2000 retrofit recall.
