National Parkinson Foundation Minnesota



We are working to raise awareness of Parkinsons disease, provide resources and information, inspire others to show their support, raise donations to fund research and Parkinson-friendly events, and to fight for those who are struggling with this illness. NPFM is a chapter affiliate of the National Parkinson Foundation (NPF), which sponsors research and treatment centers around the world.

The Parkinson Association of Minnesota was established in 1995 and became a chapter affiliate of The National Parkinson Foundation in January 1996. The association was renamed National Parkinson Foundation Minnesota in January of 2011.

NPFM is thankful Major League Baseball Hall of Famer Bert Blyleven and his wife Gayle continue serve as NPFM Board Honorary Co-Chairs and support their local community.
