Kids 'n Kinship

Connects volunteers with children who need a positive role model, supports the volunteer/child relationship as they have fun together, and provides for safe and successful mentoring. Volunteers (individual adults, couples or families) spend 1-4 hours a week with a child, doing low-cost but fun activities such as fishing, playing catch, gardening, crafts, or playing board games.

Mission: Kids 'n Kinship is a preventative mentoring program in Dakota County for children ages 5-16 in need of a positive role model. Through their Kinship relationship the child will experience a variety of activities and increase their self-esteem.
