About

Clare Housing is a small non-profit organization that was incorporated in July, 1994 to provide housing and services to people with HIV/AIDS. Its first project, Clare House, is an adult foster care home in Saint Paul that serves four persons living with HIV/AIDS. (PLWAs) On January 1, 2006, Clare Housing merged with AIDS CAre Partners, becaming the largest provider of supportive housing and care for persons living with HIV/AIDS in Minnesota. Our six foster care homes provide 24-hour care and services to individuals unable to live alone safely. Clare Housing opened Clare Apartments in September, 2005, providing 30 units of affordable, permanent housing with daily supportive services offering greater independence to residents.

Mission: To provide affordable housing, services and compassionate care to people living with HIV/AIDS in the Twin Cities.
