Florida State Fair Authority



The Florida State Fair Authority is owns over 30 acres in Hillsborough County, where it houses the Cracker Country Museum, a living history museum; the Florida Agribusiness Center, dedicated to promoting and educating children about the importance of agriculture and livestock; the Bob Thomas Equestrian Center; the Cattleman's Museum; and various venues for community events. The Authority does not receive any government funding and funds community programs through revenue from the annual Florida State Fair. The State Fair, in keeping with its mission, includes a variety of agricultural, educational and cultural experiences, in addition to the traditional midway. The 2014 Florida State Fair will be held from February 6 - 17, 2014.
