Upward Transitions is a private, non-profit agency founded in 1925 and incorporated in 1927. Our primary source of funding is from United Way of Central Oklahoma, with additional funds from Federal, State & City grants, an annual fund raiser & private contributions. Our Family Outreach Program works closely with families who are homeless, leaving shelters and reestablishing themselves in the community. We coordinate the REACH network, which provides monthly education, resource showcasing, and networking to about 50 agencies that work with individuals and families who are in need or homeless. Upward Travelers Aid also coordinates Travelers Aid Volunteer Program for two information booths at Will Rogers World Airport. Upward Transitions is committed to community development and advocacy for those who are in need and homeless.
Mission: Elevating those in need, stranded or homeless to a position of self-sufficiency.
