2-1-1 Orange County

211 OC, a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization, offers a comprehensive information and referral system linking Orange County residents to community health and human services and support. We connect hundreds of people every day to shelters, free food, low cost counseling, subsidized child care, employment services, and a wide range of services vital to individual and family self-sufficiency. We maintain a list of the nonprofit and government agencies offering help to people in our community, and through our helpline help people find the services they need. We intervene in crises (domestic violence and suicide), advocate on behalf of clients who are having trouble communicating on their own behalf, and give people hope that help is available to them. People seeking assistance can dial 2-1-1 (toll-free) 24 hours-a-day and be connected to trained Information and Referral Specialists.

Mission: To help people find the help they need.
