Team Kids provides programs for the children of the Orange County Community to become empowered and responsible citizens with a passion for service. These programs include: The Team Kids Challenge, which is a month-long in which students develop the values and skills that enable them to make positive choices in their own lives, while making a difference in the lives of others; The LemonAID Project, which was created after Hurricane Katrina as a vehicle for kids to show their support for the kids in New Orleans and recently allowed kids to raise over $41,000 for the Japan Red Coss; The Team Kids Youth Council, Which is made up of outstanding Orange County middle and high school volunteers who dedicate their time and energy to helping others through monthly self planned service projects; and many community based service projects throughout the year including MLK Day, Earth Day, 4th of July, 9/11, and Holiday service projects.
Mission: Team Kids' mission is to strengthen community collaborations that empower young people to be responsible, resilient citizens with a passion for service, through innovative school-based and community service programs.
