The Student Judicial Board (SJB) is the judicial branch of the Student Government Association and is an essential element of student governance. Each board, Perimeter and Atlanta, has 16 justices and Atlanta has an additional 3 alternate justices . Each board section has one Chief Justice and Associate Chief Justices.

When a student has an alleged conduct violation, the student can elect to have a hearing with SJB in front of a panel of 3 members. SJB is then tasked with fact-finding to determine whether the student is or is not responsible for the alleged conduct violations. Findings are then submitted to the Dean of Students office for final review and file completion.

The requirements for membership as a student justice are as follows: · Currently enrolled in a minimum of six hours for undergraduate students or three hours for graduate students · Minimum GPA of 2.5 cumulative · No prior violation of the Student Code of Conduct · Completion of at least 30 semester credit hours (for undergraduate Atlanta campus students only) · Completion of at least 15 semester credit hours (for Perimeter campus students only).
