Produce at the Easton Urban Farm is grown by volunteers and donated to the Veggie Van a program of VIC (Vegetables In Community) and the West Ward Neighborhood Partnership. The Veggie Van brings fresh local produce to residents of the West Ward once a week throughout the summer via a farm stand table located at the South 10th and Pine Community Garden. There is a suggested donation of $5 per bag but the stand runs on a "pay what you will" model. Easton Hospital provides chef demonstarions, food samples, and a nutritionist during some of the Veggie Van nights, other nights there are bucket and container garden and compost demonstartions.
Volunteers are always needed at the Easton Urban Farm to weed, mulch, mow, compost, stake, fence, tie tomatoes, etc.!!
