Habitat For Humanity Of Washington County

About

Description

Habitat for Humanity of Washington County AR (HFHWC) seeks to put beliefs into action by working in partnership with our community to provide safe, affordable homes for qualified low-income families. Habitat has shown that building homes does more than put a roof over someone’s head. In clean, decent, stable housing families will thrive. In addition to building homes, HFHWC builds a spirit of community and cooperation among the volunteers, supporters, and beneficiaries of the organization.

HFHWC is supported by the Habitat ReStore, a home improvement discount center. The ReStore is open to the public offering new and gently used building materials, furniture, appliances, and more at greatly reduced prices. The ReStore has a small staff and relies on volunteers to help keep everything running smoothly. We are open Monday-Saturday from 9:00am-5:30pm.

We are currently building our 53rd & 54th homes. The build site is in Fayetteville on S. West Ave. We hope you will consider joining us on the worksite during this exciting project!

For more infomation about HFHWC and how you can actively work to help reduce the number of families living in substandard housing, please contact us.
