Description
The Monroe County Youth Council serves as an advisory board to local organizations, institutions, businesses, government, and the community; recommends and fosters service opportunities for and/or by youth; promotes and recognizes youth in action in the community; and organizes youth-led, countywide events including Global Youth Service Day. MCYC is sponsored by the Asset Building Coalition.

MCYC is facilitated by the Youth Services Bureau of Monroe County and the City of Bloomington Volunteer Network, a program of the Community and Family Resources Department. Read more on monroecountyyouthcouncil.org.
