Northside Alternative Middle School North Campus

Our campus works with at-risk middle school students (ages 11 - 16) who have been temporarily removed from their home campuses for discipline reasons, i.e., drug/alcohol offenses, persistent misbehavior, gang activity. We continue with their education while helping them make better choices so they can return to their home campuses and do well. We need mentors to work one-on-one with the students to help them succeed. The time requirement is 45 minutes a week for one student. We provide training, support and flexible schedule options (8:30 - 3:30 M-F). If these students are able to make a positive connection with one adult, it can change their path. We are located off of IH 10 between Huebner/Woodstone and DeZavala Rd.
