Athletes 4 S.E.R.V.I.C.E. seeks to provide meals on the go for Safe Harbor Easton, as well as other homeless shelters and agencies in the future. The project is geared specifically geared toward Division I athletes at Lafayette College who are interested in participation in community service, but do not have enough time on their hands to participate in our on-campus community service organization. It's many benefits, which gained its approval by the Athletic Department and the college include: 1. Most importantly, this service is feeding the hungry and is making a large impact on the Easton community, 2. It gives athletes a chance to participate and engage a community service project that is very rewarding and beneficial to the community they are serving, and 3. It takes organization of the service projects out of the hands of coaches, as Caroline Ponsi, a former Division I lacrosse player at Lafayette, is the developer and coordinator of this project.
