PSO Day of Service

Due to COVID-19,UGA Public Service and Outreach has made the decision to cancel in-person service opportunities this year. In a traditional year PSO faculty and staff would truly give back to the community where they work, weeding gardens, spreading mulch and gathering supplies for non profit organizations, among other opportunities. However, this year, in an effort to be as safe as possible, we will host a supply drive in coordination with the Athens Eats Together initiative and will conduct a donation drive to benefit individuals impacted by homelessness at Bigger Vision of Athens. Please review the opportunities below and consider signing up for this year's PSO Day of Service.

For our 2020 opportunities, the deadline to sign up and make donations or to drop off supplies is Dec. 11 @ 5:00pm.

The collard harvesting effort at UGarden was very productive. We harvested and cleaned four rows of collards which will be used to support the missions of several community food bank efforts, including (UGA) Campus Kitchen.
