ODU Sigma Phi Epsilon

Classification Fraternity

Founded nationally in 1901, Sigma Phi Epsilon has grown to be one of the largest national fraternities with over 300,000 lifetime members. SigEp is the first to charter a chapter in all fifty states as well as be a forerunner in many areas of fraternal life. Building upon the principles of virtue, diligence, and brotherly love, Sigma Phi Epsilon has been consistently building men that not only advance their campus, but also set up their men as leaders for bettering their community later on in life. Upon its establishment on the campus of ODU in 1985, SigEp provides undergraduates with opportunities to excel in the areas of being an athlete, a scholar, and a gentleman. Sigma Phi Epsilon gives way for its members to participate in local and national leadership conventions, intramural sports, philanthropy events, and academic seminars. SigEp has in place a four year development plan that incorporates members of all ages and backgrounds.
