Northwest Arkansas Land Trust

Northwest Arkansas Land Trust is a local, non-governmental, non-profit 501(c)3 conservation organization dedicated to forever protecting the special places and landscapes that define our region.

The mission of the Northwest Arkansas Land Trust is to preserve and enhance quality of life in Northwest Arkansas through the permanent protection of land.

Our promise is to work collaboratively and tirelessly to ensure that our region's abundant scenic beauty, wildlife habitats, clean air, clean water, places for outdoor recreation, local food supply and natural heritage are permanently protected for the benefit and prosperity of current residents and future generations.

We live here, work here, and are dedicated to the people and places of Northwest Arkansas.

The land trust relies in large part on the time and effort of volunteers. We could not accomplish our land conservation goals without the continued support of dedicated community volunteers.  Whether you are interested in leading hikes, working on the land or helping in the office, we welcome your gift of time!
