About

The LIFE Project is a mentoring program for youth who have been impacted by the incarceration of a parent or parental figure in their life. The LIFE Project serves youth throughout Alameda, Contra Costa, Marin, San Francisco and San Mateo counties. Mentors are expected to spend a minimum of four hours per month with their mentee and all matches attend monthly group events that are seperate from their individual meet up. Group events consist of fun, educational and creative activities which are paired with topics and issues related to incarceration.

Mission: Leaders in Future Environments (LIFE) Project is a mentoring program which aims to strengthen and promote leadership in youth affected by parental incarceration.
