We are a community center and a host for LGBTQ programming and services.

Some of our current programs are:

Brooklyn Youth United - Meet your LGBTQ Peers!Snacks and beverages will be served!

ElderPride - Support Group Refreshments are served and there is Metrocard distribution.

ElderPride - Some Like It HotThis 6 - 10 week program seeks to engage the mainstream senior population in dialogue around culturally relevant topics as a means to open up a broader dialogue about inclusiveness, aiming to address issues of isolation and companionship within the senior population.

The LGBTQ Brooklyn Legal Assistance ProjectA project of LeGaL - The LGBT Bar Association Foundation of Greater New York, the Brooklyn Community Pride Center and Brooklyn Law School bringing you special curated events - from clinics to round table discussions - addressing issues within the LGBT community.

Modern Families - a monthly program of fun activities for LGBTQ families Our last outing was a barbeque hosted by Hope Veterinary Hospital on their rooftop garden and with our partners at Camp Highlife.

Brooklyn Youth United - Writing Program

Express Yourself! LGBTQ teens and young adults are invited to a free writing and performance workshop with nationally-acclaimed spoken word poets, Elliot Smith and Joanna Hoffman.

Creative Writers! Unhinge your language and allow words to flow in this weekly workshop open to all LGBTQ teens and young adults, every second Wednesday. Through weekly prompts, exercises, and sharing, we will create poems, stories and hybrid prose. This will be facilitated by performance poet and published author, Aimee Herman.

Write for Your Future! Whether youre looking to hone your general writing skills, jazz up your resume or write a memorable college entrance essay,together well practice different strategies to enhance your writing process and improve your confidence as a writer. Some of our topics will include: brainstorming, word choice, personal style, organization, proofreading, and so much more.

12 Step Meetings for the LBGTQ community

Mission: The mission of the Brooklyn Community Pride Center is to provide a safe, common space offering physical and mental health services, social support, recreational and cultural programming, as well as being a hub of information for lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender individuals and families in Brooklyn.
