The New York Botanical Garden has 250 acres of grounds, including 28 specialty gardens and plant collections, a 40 acre forest, the Enid A. Haupt Conservatory, the LuEsther T. Mertz Library, and a world renown scientific research center.

Mission: The New York Botanical Garden is a museum of plants and scientific research center. In all of its work, the Garden is dedicated to environmental education and the conservation of plant diversity.
