Silicon Valley Historical Association/SCVHA

About

The Silicon Valley Historical Association (SVHA) records and archives the personal histories of Silicon Valley's world-impacting individuals and the histories of technologies developed in Silicon Valley. The SVHA examines the parallels in technologies that were developed during the European Renaissance period with those of Silicon Valley (such as the development of small, affordable books by the Aldine Press -- and the development of the personal computer and the Internet).

Mission: The Silicon Valley Historical Association, also known as the Santa Clara Valley Historical Association, is a 501(c)(3) non-profit. Our Association's mission is to research and record the Silicon Valley phenomenon. Since 1992, our Association has published books, produced documentary films, recorded oral histories, and maintained an online archive about the history of Silicon Valley -- covering its cities, companies, individuals, high-technologies and parallels with the European Renaissance period.
