About

Disaster Services- Twenty-four hours a day, 365 days a year, we provide free temporary housing, food, clothig and medical assistance to victims of natural and man-made disasters. A trained staff of disaster volunteers donated thousands of hours each year to support both local and national relief efforts. Military & Social Services - We provide around-the-clock emergency communications and financial assistance to military personnel throughout the world. Social services are also provided to military families, disasters victims, and the community at large. International Social Services - We offer a number of international social services. Red Cross supports international relief effort, provides tracing and family message services and helps to educate the public about International Humanitarian Law and the Geneva Conventions. Tracing services are also provided for people trying to gather more information about lost relatives. Health & Safety Services - Red Cross Health and Safety courses are designed to teach individuals life-saving skills. A variety of courses are offered to the community that enable individuals to revent and respond to emergency situations.

Mission: The American Red Cross, a humanitarian organization led by volunteers and guided by its Congressional Charter and the Fundamental Principals of the International Red Cross movement, will provide relief to victims of disasters and help people prevent, prepare for, and respond to emergencies.
