Attended Feed my People with a few guys from my fraternity one morning and genuinely enjoyed my experience
It was a very humbling experience to serve the homeless and see how all walks of life are affected by poverty. I got to meet some really nice folks while serving them coffee. The hardest part of this experience was waking up, but it was definitely worth it and I plan to volunteer again next week.
I attended a Feed My People event at 5:30 AM in order to feed low-income people and families. Being able to provide for those who are in most need, and being able to witness the strong community that develops around Feed My People volunteers, was all extremely fulfilling.
