May 22nd is the International Biodiversity Celebration day. Today I chose the "Floating Forest" project in Zooniverse for doing volunteering during qurantine. I helped the research team to locate the Giant Kelp for the pictures they showed to me. Kelp forest is a very important corridor for marine biodiversity!
During COVID-19 period, today I used my spare time to contribute the data on Zooniverse. The two projects I did is penguin watch and gravity spy.
Helped a group of people in my community with making masks and delivering it to healthcare workers
I was able volunteer with Soldier's Angels chat with a military veteran and thank him for his service. I was nervous at first because I didn't know what I was suppose to expect but it turned out to be a great experience.
