This day I passed ice and hall trays. I also help aides pull people up and make beds. As a CNA, I feel it is my duty to use my skills to help this non-profit hospital and make them feel that they do not have to do it alone. The amazing thing about it is, I have fallen inlove with volunteering with this organization. I meet amazing doctors, nurses, aides, and patients. Love what you do. Do what you love.
It Is great volunteering at this organization. I volunteer every monday for four hours and enjoys the faculty that work their. All the nurses and aides are just great. To be able to connect with the patients and get a good idea what people go through and learn about their diagnosis is just great. What I do as a volunteer is help people to the bathroom, fill ice, pass trays, make the patients feel welcomed, and a lot of other things. Mind you, I do have my CNA as well.
Volunteer in the Emergency Room
I was able to volunteer at Cox South's Neuro-Trauma ICU.
Volunteered at Cox North ER. Was and is a great experience interacting with patients and seeing the impact my service has.
