Again always happy to be back. In particular I had a good conversation with a man about how long he has been in Memphis and about his two daughters and how much the school systems haven't changed in years and how that affects the communities.
Happy as always to have been back at one of my favorite organizations in Memphis. As someone who grew up working in the soup kitchen with my family, it always feels great to get back in and give back to my community.
I attend Jacob's Well often and I must say every time is a new experience, I absolutely love volunteering at Jacobs Well. Nothing brings me joy more than seeing everyone excitement when the food is passed out

We made meals for everyone and I got to talk to a few people about their life stories and what high schools they went to many years ago and talk about the commonalities we still share despite age differences
We prepared food, enjoyed a nice service that allowed me to reflect upon conflicts in my life and how I approach them, and then packed everything back up again.
