I like the support that people in the community of Austin show, because there was more than enough volunteers to help with the event, which made everything run smoothly and everything a whole lot easier than expected.

SXSW was a tiring but fun experience. I got to meet and help a lot of people with their SXSW necessities.

I loved volunteering for SXSW! All of the shift leaders at Alamo South Lamar were very nice and helpful. I met loads of fun and interesting people, and even made a few new friends. It feels great to help bring SXSW to life for everyone involved.

served on the Interactive Panels crew during the SXSW Interactive section of the conference as a Shift Leader in the Green Room. Work included tidying up space for panelists, making sure that panelist needs and questions were attended to, and coordinating with my two volunteers to fill in other places (such as crowd control) when needed.
