Andrew Jackson High School

Kathie Carswell

I am very grateful to be in a position to be the deliverer of information to young people. As Outreach Coordinator for the College of Computing, Engineering and Construction it warms my heart to be able to share information to young people so that they can see opportunities that can make a difference in their quality of life. I am also grateful to be partnered with such amazing professional women in the STEM industry who make a difference by showing up and participating in STEM workshops and being mentors to young women. This Girls in IT workshop at Andrew Jackson High School is a great opportunity for young women to see that they can make a difference in the world through technology. Thanks to my colleagues, students, and industry partners who participated in the amazing workshop.
