Half of my team and I volunteered at Bryan Station’s Junior/Senior Prom at the Hilton in downtown Lexington. We were able to interact with not only the students, but the faculty which we had yet to do so. It was an enjoyable time because we were able to see the students outside of a school setting.
On April 20th, we were invited to chaperone the prom for Bryan Station High School. This was very fun and exciting to see the students outside of school. This was a fun opportunity to even talk to numerous faculty members about their passion for the school. Overall this was a great experience.
Juul Take Back Day: We worked with SnPHA to help run juul take back day at Bryan Station High School where we encouraged the students to turn in any e cigarettes, juuls, or juul pods in order to enter into a raffle for prizes. We were able to interact with the students and learn more about their day to day schedules and lives.
On April 11th, my team and I volunteered at Bryan Station High School in order to encourage students to hand in their Juul's for prizes. We were also able to interact with the students and get an insight to their daily class schedule. I was also able to learn a lot from the students and find out what they are interested in for the future.
